The Democratic National Convention meeting in Philadelphia on July 25-28 will adopt a national party platform that will set forth the principles and issues that motivate us as Democrats, and make the choice very clear for the American people this November. It is an open process and you can participate in two ways –
First, all Democrats will now be able to go online at www.demconvention.com/platform to either submit written or video testimony by June 28th.
Second, you can request to testify in person or just attend the regional forums – the Mid-Atlantic Forum/Platform Drafting meeting will be held on June 8th: 1:30pm – 6:00pm and June 9th: 9:30am – 4:00pm at the Omni Shoreham Hotel, 2500 Calvert St NW, Washington, DC 20008 – sign up here!
