The Virginia Democratic Party State Steering Committee and Central Committee will meet this friday night (7:30 pm) and saturday morning (10:00 am), Dec. 3-4, at the Newport News Marriott at City Center, 740 Town Center Drive, Newport News, Virginia 23606.
The primary agenda items include thanks to retiring State Party Chair Richard Cranwell; election of a new party Chair; and consideration of a Party Plan amendment to add representatives of the Democratic Latino Organization of Virgina Caucus, the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Tansgender Caucus, and/or the Veterans and Military Families Caucus to the Steering Committee; and officer reports.
There will be a Jefferson-Jackson Celebration friday night from 7pm – 12 midnight, also at the Marriott. Please join us.
