This afternoon, I took a break from the office to walk around The Mall. I approached the Smithsonian’s Arts & Industries Building with some trepidation – I spent every sunday there when I was young and it was the Air & Space Museum, but it has been decaying big time. It is now being rehabed, however, with funding from the Recovery Act. An excellent project that creates jobs and will leave a lasting legacy that will better America.
