As discussed in this post from Lee Dems, this fall Virginia is implementing new voter identification requirements. They Don’t Want You to Vote. When you go to the polls on November 6th make sure to bring one of the following identification:
- your Commonwealth of Virginia voter registration card, or
- your social security card, or
- your valid Virginia driver’s license, or
- any other identification card issued by a government agency of the Commonwealth, or
- any identification card issued by one of the political subdivisions of the Commonwealth, or
- any valid student identification card issued by any institution of higher education located in the Commonwealth of Virginia, or
- any valid employee identification card containing a photograph of the voter and issued by an employer of the voter in the ordinary course of the employer’s business, or
- a copy of a current utility bill that shows that name and address of the voter, or
- a copy of a bank statement that shows that name and address of the voter, or
- a copy of a paycheck that shows that name
