I wanted to share a few updates with you regarding the upcoming Chair and DNC Officer elections, including important dates and information for potential candidates.
Our next DNC meeting will occur on January 30 – February 1, 2025 at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor, MD. Information on how to book your hotel room and the schedule of meetings is forthcoming.
DNC members will elect the Chair, Treasurer, Secretary, National Finance Chair, Vice Chair for Civic Engagement and Voter Participation, and three other Vice Chairs on Saturday, February 1.
The Rules and Bylaws Committee (RBC) will meet on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at 1:00 PM ET to recommend the Rules of Procedure for the Election of Officers. This will be followed by a DNC Executive Committee meeting on Friday, December 13, 2024 at 10:00 AM ET. While the RBC meeting is only a few weeks away, I wanted to share additional information with you regarding the process and what to expect. Please see below for a broad timeline and this linked memo that I have sent RBC members regarding this process, which includes four forums for candidates before the meeting so DNC members may have their questions directly answered.

December 12, 2024: DNC Rules and Bylaws Committee meets to recommend for approval by the full DNC the Rules of Procedure for the Election of DNC Officers
