Frank Leone (Arlington)
Frank is seeking his second term on the DNC, where he serves on the DNC Credentials Committee and reports on the activities of the DNC’s Rules and Bylaws Committee. Frank is a long time Virginia Democratic campaign volunteer, and has served on local committees, as Virginia Young Democrats President, and as the Vice Chair for Rules of the Democratic Party of Virginia and Resolutions Committee Chair. Frank’s blog, www.DemRulz.org, has kept Virginia Democrats informed about party activities. He will work to ensure that party processes are open to all grass roots Democrats and that the DNC supports state parties, and continue to help build the Democratic Party and elect its candidates.
George E. Wallace (Hampton)
George is seeking election to his first term on the DNC. He has had a long career of public service in local government and was just re-elected as the leading vote getter and Vice-Mayor of Hampton, Virginia. He has also been active for decades in community and service organizations and First Congressional District Democrats elected him to attend the 2008 National Convention. George will bring a unique perspective as a local official to the DNC and contribute to our efforts to elect Democrats from the courthouse to the White House.
Mame Reiley (Alexandria, born Newport News)
Mame has served on the DNC since 1992 and is the DNC Women’s Caucus Chair and a member of the Rules and Bylaws Committee. She served on Chairman Howard Dean’s transition team in 2005. Mame was the Director of Governor Mark Warner’s Inauguration and served as Director of his OneVirginia PAC (raising over $10 million for Democratic candidates). She also was a senior advisor and the political director of Forward Together, Governor Warner’s PAC and senior advisor to Governor Tim Kaine, raising money for Moving Virginia Forward. Mame is currently the President of The Reiley Group, a political consulting, fundraising and event management company, which in its first year, raised over $3.5 million dollars for Democrats at the state and national levels. Mame also managed Congressman Jim Moran’s first campaign and served as his Chief of Staff for five years.
Doris-Crouse Mays (Bedford)
Doris, seeking her second term on the DNC, serves on the DNC’s Executive Committee. She was elected as President of the Virginia AFL-CIO in 2010, the first woman to hold that office, and is a respected national Labor leader. Doris has been helping Democrats win election since 1982 and oversaw Labor’s political program for Governor Warner in 2001, Governor Kaine in 2005, Senator Webb in 2006 and President Obama in 2008, producing Democratic victories every time! Doris continues to oversee labor’s political program in Virginia. She will represent YOU – the hardworking Virginia Democrats – and be a voice that you can count on to move an agenda for change and to be supportive of Virginia’s working families!
