After every presidential nominating cycle, the DNC’s Rules and Bylaws Committee normally meets to review the elements of the last Presidential nominating process to determine what worked well and identify reforms needed to improve the process going forward. In compliance with the 2020 Convention Unity Resolution, the DNC reached out and solicited public comment on DNC actions re (1) encouraging states to hold primaries, (2) new procedures for caucuses, (3) automatic delegates, and (4) additional reforms. The DNC RBC will meet on this Thursday May 27 at 12:00 noon ET to discuss 2020’s reforms made for 2020 and whether additional changes are needed for 2024. (It is of course only the first of many discussions of the 2024 Delegate Selection Rules.) You can watch on the DNC’s YouTube Channel.
