DNC Chair Election – May 4, 2011

The DNC will hold a special meeting to elect a new Chair on Wednesday, May 4 at 3 pm at The Fairfax at Embassy Row, 2100 Massachusetts Avenue, NW in the Dupont Circle neighborhood.   Below  are the proposed election rules.  Here is a NYT profile today of the only announced candidate for Chair, Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz.  She will do an excellent job in advancing President Obama’s agenda and building the Democratic Party.

I am a Democrat and I can visit the Fairfax about 6 P.M.: will the DNC still continue its meeting or event until then?
