George Allen told a Martinsville Bulletin reporter last week that he now opposes raising the debt ceiling, something he voted for four times during his six years as a failed Senator. The cynical flip flop is nothing new from a candidate who says he wants to cut spending after supporting a $3 trillion increase in the national debt and who says he cares about jobs but would rather cut programs that create opportunity for the middle class than ask millionaires to pay their fair share.
