The DPVA Central Committee met in Woodbridge this morning and endorsed the Senate-passed Congressional redistricting plan that provides for two opportunity districts, called for a primary to nominate he next US senator from Virginia, and voted to hold the 2012 VA Democratic Convention at George Mason University in Fairfax.  It will be  the first Northern Virginia Convention ever and we hope.. read more →

DPVA to Meet this Weekend

The Democratic Party of Virginia State Central and Steering Committees will meet in Woodbridge, Virginia on Sept. 16-17.  I believe that this is the first meeting in Northern Virginia since 1989 (which may have been the first meeting in Northern Virginia ever), and I am pretty sure it is the party’s first meeting in growing and important.. read more →
